And today Alhamdulillah sangat aktif

Nak puasa ni teringat tahun lepas aku menyiapkan berpuluh-puluh balang

Serius rindu nak baking balik

Tapi malangnya badan tak berdaya

Aku stop baking kookies munchsters sejak pregnant

Sebab tiba-tiba membenci baking

Dahla takde oven dah ni

Kalau nak bake guna microwave oven tu alamat berjam-jamla tak siap kookies aku

But kena buat jugakla sikit this year untuk makan

Raya?

Cakap pasal raya walaupun belum puasa pun lagi ni

I’m freaking out bila pikir eh aku nak masak apa suami nak makan pagi raya ni???

I never cook rendang my whole life!

Setakat tolong-tolong potong, tumbuk, kacau tu ada lah

Takkan nak masak spaghetti mac and cheese pulak?

So kena pi belajar and try and error la nampaknya

I really wish boleh puasa penuh this year

Tapi nervous jugak sebab aku ni selalu lapar saja kalau siang time pregnant ni

Wow 7 months already!

Semalam check up KK and berat aku telah naik from 63kg to 68.5kg!

5.5kg naik okay!

Patutla aku rasa shape aku macam tak sebest dulu perut dan bumper sama lebar je

It’s unhealthy sebab boleh naik 2kg sebulan saja

Bukan sebab takut gemuk ye, I really don’t care

So untuk kesihatan umi dan baby elokla kita cut nasi tu jangan makan twice a day dah

But the good news is my HGB dah naik from 10.5 to 11.5

Yeay iron dah ok hopefully dapat kekalkan sampai deliver

Thanks to Iberet -500 terus naik 10 point dalam masa 1 month

Kan senang kalau nurse KK tu cakap awal-awal suruh makan pil ni

Lepas ni kena pegi KK every 2 weeks pulak

Ok aku seriously considering nak skip2 je lepas ni

Also kena start kira movement baby from 9.00am to 9.00pm

Aku dok main ingat je tak kuasa nak tick setiap kali gerak

Tapi my baby aktif time umi dia nak tidur pukul 11.00pm macam tu

Rasanya baby masih breach sebab kadang2 rasa keras je perut bawah dada ni

Macam rasa kepala dia gitu

Termengah2 aku bila baring macam bloated sangat

Barang baby aku masih belum habiskan beli sebab busy pindah rumah

Haritu berkenan dengan playpen graco sebab design vintage gitu

Bukannya nak check benefit ke apa design pulak yang dikisahkannya

Still undecided nak beli playpen atau baby cot sebab harga lebih kurang je

Now dah settle down dekat rumah sewa baru

Banyak benda kena buat lagi  walaupun dah abis kemas la

Banyak lagi barang belum unpack tapi tu kurang penting lah

Our small living room yang kena buat makeover sikit

Yang paling penting kena cat bilik nak letak barang baby

Sebab aku pening bilik tu warna maroon yang buruk

Dahla dalam tu jugak letak wardrobe aku

Setiap kali nak iron baju rasa pening kepala dengan warna bilik tu

Last week tak sempat paint so this week kena buat jugak before puasa

as usual dekat iMAX 3D TGV Sunway Pyramid

Man, it's amazing

Not saying Tobey Maguire version tak best but this one is better

Story wise memang lagi real

Even I think Andrew Garfield is the perfect Peter Parker

Can't wait for the next installment

As usual tunggu lah sampai end credit ye

and yes,

Back kepada wedding story this time nak cerita pasal DIY stuff 
masa majlis 25 December 2011
Angan-angan aku memang besar kalau boleh semua benda nak DIY
but bila dah makin dekat harinya
makin aku fikir secara rasional
memang tak terkejar unless awal-awal dah prepare macam2
especially bila aku nak DIY pelamin sendiri
Alhamdulillah jadi juga la mengikut plan
We are truly happy dengan outcome dia walaupun takda la cantik mana pun
yang penting white, kemas, takda color, tak semak

1. Pelamin DIY

Aku and zul start buat pelamin ni hari khamis...majlis hari ahad
We decided it's gonna be all white macam tajuk lagu "Whiter shade of pale"
Tak kisahla baju aku white, background white
walaupun mak aku kondem kata takda colour la, pucat la
Platform anak buah aku buat, carpet bulu beli dekat semua house semeter RM35
langsir buat dekat nagoya
paperfan tu buat sendiri pakai tracing paper inspired by kedai island shop deco

vase kayu beli kat kedai sri gombak ni je
alat merenjis sewa RM50 je
sofa klippan by Ikea sekarang dah selamat kat living room kitorang
bantal kecik, bantal nikah, karpet the whole room sewa for somethingborrowedbynawal
karpet tempat nikah beli dekat Ikea pun selamat dekat living room
bunga telur murah gila beli kat nilai

So memang jimat la buat sendiri pelamin sebab barang banyak pakai balik
but terpulang pada taste individu
for me the reason why taknak hire vendor sebab harga ridiculous mahal
and bila yang murah tak kena citarasa pulak


2. Barang hantaran

Memang impian aku nak guna bunga baby breathe as main decoration for my wedding
and dapat aku buat pada hantaran to zul
tapi bukan aku yang buat pun
Thank God, my bestfriend neesa ameera sleepover the night before
memang aku dah agak aku takkan sempat so aku pun buatla emergency call
minta dia tolong buat hantaran

Sa, I cannot thank you enough! serious aku just bagi contoh gambar and lepaskan je bagi neesa buat
and it turns out beautiful!
Neesa dibantu adik dia, eera and sirih junjung tu pulak my dear fareha johari yang buat
I love you guys so much!

3. Wedding cake

Wedding cake ingat nak tempah fondant ke apa tapi sebab mahal aku lupakan saja
Then ingat nak bake sendiri and wat icing bagai tapi susah
so lupakan saja
at the end of the day I just bought secret recipe blackforest kosong white tanpa decoration
and at the last minute minta my bestfriend again, Neesa untuk letak bunga orkid kat atas kek tu as deco
So masa nampak tu I was like wow, dari plain jadi nice pulak ada bunga bagai ni
Saaaa rasa nak hug ko sangat
Walaupun hanya 1 tier, bukan fondant but I really love it.


4. Arch Entrance

Plan asal nak pagola kosong macam bali style
This one build my anak buah yang buat platform pelamin tu
Aku nak warna kayu gelap taktau cemana jadi macam kemerah-merahan pulak
Then my bro in law nak tambah kerawang-kerawang
But it's okay aku tak komplen sebab memang aku takde masa nak oversee menda ni
Again pagi tu Neesa lah yang pasang langsir last minute tu sebab aku memang dah tak sempat
and taburkan batu2 kat tepi
Ingat mula-mula nak beli letak pasu bunga kertas putih kiri kanan
tapi tak sempat beli


4. Other decoration

Table centrepiece

Table centrepiece ni aku beli botol kat Qualitypack sangat murah

then letak white orchid beli dekat Petaling street

Orkid ni jenis murah je 5 batang RM4 je

So memang fresh flower aku spend dalam RM200 je for baby breathe, white orchid and carnation

Hanging deco ni last minit adik aku bai gantungkan
plan asal nak bagi penuh letak paper flower banyak-banyak
but like i mention earlier - tak sempat
So apa sempat jela letak
Tak impressive pun tapi ada la added value for photo

Frame ikea rm8 tu aku sangkut dengan kain nagoya semeter RM4 tu aku sangkut
salah measure pulak jadila dia macam singkat gitu


5. Meja Beradap

Aku memang tak fokus sangat dekat meja beradap
aku cuma beli placemat dekat reject shop
and then deco dengan white orchid dalam vase with candle
Susunan pinggan aku bagi gambar dekat uncle aku minta dia follow
dah ok dah cuma dorang salah letak jug air yang kelaka kat situ
Meja ni aku serahkan kat adik aku untuk susun




6. Handbouquet

Again my bestfriend, Neesa yang buatkan pagi-pagi tu
Sa, you are my saviour!
Macam biasa aku bagi gambar je and she did so well!


I think that's all the DIY stuff yang berjaya buat for my wedding
Walaupun maybe ada hiccup here and there, I consider everything went smooth
and according to plan
nothing major happened, semua lancar, cukup makan
and yang penting  my white wedding theme is fulfilled :)

It's my dear surfacing 30th birthday!
I didn't bake the cake, it's from secret recipe
My husband favourite flavor
Tengokla cemana messy nye budak secret recipe ni tulis atas kek tu
alasan dia surface tu licin...sabar jela

Anywho, this is his first birthday as a husband
and before this I imagine it will be something like this...
I will take a day off, bake a cheese cake for him, his favourite lasagna
and probably his favourite kookies munchster
But kita hanya merancang
Turns out I cannot take a day off because I'm still under probation
and we are busy preparing pindah rumah sabtu ni so barang semua dah pack

So the best that I can do is buy his favourite cake
pasang lilin leftover masa wedding and sing him off tune birthday song
Sorry my dear, I wish i can do more...ngeee
My present to you lambat sikit...
you have to wait for another 3 months, InsyaAllah

your birthday present at 24 weeks

Inside Us All

Two faces 

1. I quit my job and now working at Kelana Jaya with a GLC company. No more 10 minutes drive to work,flexible hours, cosy office, wonderful boss, casual attire and stress free environment. This is a 8.00-5.00 cubicle working cycle. Wake up at 6.00am and leave to work at 7.00am. No pantry, no sneak out to Giant to buy groceries, very malay environment. Still adapting with new work hours, 40 minutes drive braving the LDP and 23 colleagues in one department. On the bright said, better paycheck and benefits.

2. Will move to another rented house next  2 week. Have not pack a thing. Have to do some packing job this week. Lucky us the new landlord is nice enough to paint the living room to white (imagine my horror tengok purple living room masa 1st time tengok), renovate the toilets and do repair works before we move in. At least the house will look better. Cuma kitchen a bit too small and old for me. Apa-apa syukur ada rumah nak duduk. and yes, still around the block je ...ngee

3.  I had a throat infection and bad cough since last week. Throat infection ni dah teruk even the doctor pelik I didn't suffer any pain. It's been there for 2-3 months and I thought it's just an ulcer. Batuk pulak sebab pregnancy allergy. So tak boleh buat apa. This month medical bill is a bit too high for us...

4. I'm 25 weeks pregnant, yeay! Baby so active especially if makan lambat. Like yesterday I didn't had dinner because I had doctor appointment and baby move non-stop sepanjang 2 hours of waiting. Kesian dia lapar sangat la tu...Balik je rumah pukul 11 malam terus makan nestum and susu baru la dia senyap. Poor my baby...

5. Susah nak kawal berat yang naik ni sebab last checkup my weight increase 3kg. That's not good for this stage of pregnancy. Limit 2kg only. So i'm a bit worried since I really like all the sweet stuff macam kuih donut, chocolate and makan nasi lemak lagi. 3 weeks to another checkup and I already gain 2kg...I'm screwed.

6. So far dah beli 60% of the baby stuff. Lain-lain tu slowly after pindah rumah nanti. Recently beli sterilizer with warmer autumz and tak try pun lagi sebab malas...Big thing yang belum beli adalah baby cot/ playpen. Still undecided tapi like I said before, we prefer playpen. Tapi yang suka tu macam mahal lah kena tengok budget cemana

7. We want to sign up for prubest insurance for our baby so dah submit application. One of the process is to get a gynea report so last saturday we went to Hospital Pantai to get it done. Bila buat ultrasound my baby masih breach position. Even though it's normal during 24 weeks tapi the doctor advise us not to take this insurance until the baby is born. Sebab report tak cantik baby breach. Sedih rasanya but at the end of the day we decided to sign up later sajalah...kita ikut apa nasihat pakar.

8. Because I'm new to the company and still under probation, so tak entitled maternity leave. Means NO SALARY FOR 2 MONTHS. whoaaaa stresss jugak masa aku dengar tu. Akta kerja kata kena 9 bulan berkhidmat baru entitled. So terpaksa la saving monthly salary selama 4 months ni nak cover yang 2 months tu. Tapi Allah SWT tu Maha Kaya dan Pemurah, elok-elok aku masuk ni ada penyelarasan gaji and kenaikan elaun and aku entitled. Alhamdulillah, walaupun tak banyak tapi amat membantu sangat sangat. Syukur.

9. Current craving - still oranges, watermelon, vitagen, nasi lemak kerang, kuih donut, kuih keria, apa-apa kuih manis, jagung bakar. Peel fresh orange... But now kena stop mana yang boleh buat batuk tu.

10. Now minum susu Enfamama vanilla flavour. Memang sedap rasa vanilla tapi macam manis lah pulak. Katanya Anmum tu banyak gula. The thing about susu Enfamama, everytime lepas minum mesti rasa nak purge and sedikit loya.

Maybe I should switch to anmum back.

11. Office baru aku ni toilet dia takde sabun dan tissue. I mean come on..memangla cuci pakai air kan tapi nak lap pakai apa pulak lepas tu? Takkan basah-basah sarung kot? Dahla aku ni setiap 30 minit nak pegi kench. So terpaksala bawak toilet paper sendiri-sendiri ye...sabar jelaa

12. Snow white and hunstman okla cerita dia. Maybe Ms Stewart too rigid lah watak dia. Too twilight. 
Now tak sabar nak tengok The Dark Knight Rises this July!

By the way, bila tengok stats blog ni ada orang telah search "Pet Norlela Ghani" and eventually lead to this blog la kan...

so far so good
no more loya, muntah and senak
but definitely senak kalau makan nasi tambah 2x kan...ngeee
my appetite really good, in fact I gain 4 kg in 1 month
kalau kemas rumah takda masalah boleh mop, sapu, vacuum, basuh bilik air
takde rasa penat
tapi bila dah siap, amik ubat sakit pinggang di kemudian hari
current favourite food:
watermelon, oranges, cadbury roast almond, egg sandwich and nasi lemak.
Esok ada check up kat KK
tolonglah HB aku jangan turun lagi kalau tak bisingla nurse nanti



Anomaly scan & 3d/4d
I did anomaly scan with 3d/4d scan during 21 weeks of pregnancy
booked 3 days earlier with jezzlyn at klinik fauziah, ampang
serius aku and surfacing risau sangat
sebab anomaly scan ni very detail and boleh tau kalau ada abnormality ke apa
Alhamdulillah, everything great.
baby sihat dan sempurna, syukur sangat-sangat.
baby not too big or too small, semua just nice.
yang kelakar baby ni asyik tidur je sampai Jezzlyn ketuk-ketuk perut pun dia buat taktau je
pastu tangan asyik block muka dia
This time memang nampak gender dia clearly 100% sure
finally after almost 20 minutes dapat a few shots of him

Kalau kat video siap nampak dia buat muka tutup buka mulut
siap menguap
kesian my baby mesti tension kena kacau

so dia telah protest
instead of tutup muka dengan tangan, dia tutup muka dengan kaki pulak

Macam ni pulak gaya dia marghohh
terus buat akrobatik tutup muka dengan kaki


Baby Checklist
sepanjang 5 bulan ni aku memang takda beli barang baby
Not even a romper
and last saturday we decided to start buying some baby stuff
I didn't do much survey just baca from blog mother-to-be je
First stop expo pwtc yang hampeh tu
Serius buang masa
Then pegi manjaku sale, FOS baby and one baby world
ada la beli sikit2 barang macam rompers, milk storage bottle, swaddle
On sunday we went to One Utama to watch Snow White & The Huntsman
and yang tak sangka, we decided to buy stroller at Jusco
ada yang suka gile macam graco amat berat and bulky
yang lightweigh macam quinny and combi pulak mahal sangat
Sebab kitorang jenis malas nak buat comparison sangat
We bought SCR5 with carseat SCR7
Harga affordable with specs yang memuaskan hati
SweetCherry stroller, please be good to my child
Now, half list dah crossed
One more big stuff to buy is baby cot or playpen
Still undecided

Btw masa beli tu, SA india ni tanya
"kenapa melayu suka beli barang baby awal-awal?"
Aku pun tatau nak jawab apa
sebab aku ingat memang standard, bila pregnant dah halfway ni startla buat preparation

First Kick
Last 2 weeks baby gerak time aku tengah lunch with my lady boss at Shah Alam
aku macam eh ni baby gerak ke angin
after that ade rasa gerak-gerak lagi
Last week paling best, time meeting with my lady boss
tiba-tiba rasa macam rama-rama bergerak
Literally macam butterfly in my stomach!
lasted for 15 minutes
Tersengih-sengih aku time meeting
Tapi this week dia macam gerak sikit je
takde butterfly dah
oh dear, gerak la lagi.... I really miss the butterfly feelings
Hopefully next time boleh nampak gerak dekat perut pulak :)

Tiba-tiba rasa nak update pasal wedding pulak
But this time nak buat khas about my henna during both event
Months before the wedding, I already made booking with Amrina- Hennaratusehari
Actually memang kenal dengan amrina ni walaupun tak rapat
Company aku buat event sama company Bernama, department husband dia
So ada la jumpa time event


Henna - Solemnization (25.12.11)
Untuk solemnization, aku ambil pakej tapak tangan+atas tangan.
Kaki tak nak buat sebab rasa macam takde kepentingan
so pakej sekali dengan hujung jari sekali
So aku ada la shortlisted a few design hasil google
memang undecided la sebab design tu abstract kan
but for akad nikah, I chose floral design

Amrina very punctual pukul 9.00 dah datang aku yang kelam kabut sebab masa tu ayah sakit perut teramat sangat so pegi klinik dulu beli ubat
Serius aku bawak laju gile kereta sampai teringat yang eh ni esok nak nikah ni
bawak sabar-sabar tengah darah manis ni

Honestly I'm not a fan of henna, aku nak pakai ni sebab nak merasa

But masa dah pakai ni rasa macam eh sayangnyaa bila dia nak hilang dah
So disebabkan suka sangat, aku book untuk reception 1.1.12 pulak
Oh ye, Henna lukis  ni tahan lebih kurang 5 hari je

Aku just pergi rumah Amrina on Saturday and buat atas tangan sahaja
This time aku pilih corak geometri
memang macam penuh lain macam but aku suka jugak

I really love both henna
Memang macam renyah but terpulang masing-masing
ada yang suka simple ada yang suka penuh
Bagi aku dah alang-alang buat, buat betul-betul

Tips pakai henna:
1. Kalau pakai instant untuk hujung jari tu, buat hujung jari dulu sebab die cepat merah
 pakai dalam 10minit terus basuh
2. Then baru buat yang lukis
3. Make sure betul-betul kering baru kopek and tanggalkan inai, jangan basuh dulu
4. Masa basuh jangan gosok sangat, cepat-cepat tanggalkan yang tebal-tebal tu sebab nanti lukisan smear - henna pun mengembang
5. Pastikan ada assistant masa basuh cepat-cepat tu
